I was holding out for you to get here Jed, didn't want to take your 5th spot..
We have some of this crazy white stuff on the ground outside.. This is the first sign of winter, I suppose not bad seeming last year we got our first big snow storm on Nov. 8th.. I just hope it doesn't mean winter will stick around until June..
"Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed, Then one day he was shootin at some food, And up through the ground came a bubblin' crude. Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea. Well the first thing you know ol' Jed's a millionaire, Kinfolk said Jed move away from there Said Californy is the place you ought to be So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly. Hills, that is. Swimmin pools, movie stars. The Beverly Hillbillies! Sung at the end of the show: Well now its time to say good-bye to Jed and all his kin. And they would like to thank you folks fer kindly droppin in. You're all invited back again to this locality To have a heapin helpin of their hospitality Hillbilly that is. Set a spell. Take your shoes off. Y'all come back now, y'hear?
I dunno, I still see Jewdis.. I have to literally tell myself that it's JEDwis
JEDwis, farther up north in Sweden they have something close to that.. not sure if it will go so long without the sun.. I do know that my husbands grandmother grew up in Kiruna and she remembers a bright sun all through the night as a kid during the summers.. so I'm assuming you get the opposite during the winters.. We live quite a bit south in Sweden, it's dark enough here, couldnt imagine having to deal with even more..
There were a few snowflakes mixed in with the rain today. Milwaukee got more than we did, and Grafton even more. Yuk!
Put my tree up today, but it isn't decorated...yet. Thought it might put me more in the holiday spirit, but sadly, it did not. 20 days left and I haven't bought one gift yet and have no ideas. I'm in trouble!
ah Jed, that song goes thru my head every time I see your name abbreviated :) about that positive and productive thing, I was positively productive at being very unproductive today (off tomorrow and that's another story, huge plans!)
Jedi, Tennessee Jed, Jewdis, Jedwiz, talk about having multiple personalities. Geez, I think I just need to change my namey thingy to... Number 5...lol

Is is just me or when I see "jed" does anyone else's brain tack on the extra "i" so I think I see jedi?
Actually, when I think of jed, "Tennessee Jed" from the Grateful Dead comes to my mind.

Good gosh, Mary, of course I had to sing while writing that wonderful ballad, it's the only way to remember the words. lol
