Davy was a nice guy, but the Ventures epitomized cool.
Davy sure looked like a little boy back then. No wonder we swooned. We were little girls. Not quite the same to see him as an adult singing those old songs. They seem slower and older....
It took the entire song before I realized the backups were wearing "Monkee" shirts. I'm slipping....
Never followed the monkey's, but I do now admire the Chinese dancing monkeyette's.
