Top of the Hops Beer Festival plans on holding a beer fest on May 12 and in no place other than Festival Hall. It appears that the Kilties Brew Fest has national competition coming to Racine. Noted on their website is glassware, which was frowned upon and not allowed at Festival Hall. More on this as it develops.

I wouldn't say they are "sneaking into Racine," it appears that it is an open and a blatant statement to the Kilties. Why does Racine undermine its own, time and time again? The sad thing is that we allow it to happen, over and over again.
Years back we had investors who wanted to open a micro brew/pub restaurant in an old building along the river. We aren't talking just another dive tavern or bar... Milwaukee has some fantastic micro brew houses, that are very popular and are thriving. What happened, why did Racine not let this go forward? Everything is so political, so 'good old boy' entrenched... it all depends on who you are, who it will bring competition to, and if "they" like you.
This is really sad. I expect it to get a lot of attention. I hope the Kilties won't let this slide quietly.
Does this have anything to do with the Kilties, or is it a desperate attempt for Venu-works to get something going at Festival Hall?

Let me INFROM YOU - Festival Hall does not exist to make $$$ for the City. It is a NEVER-ENDING project that rewards connected players with work at City Haul $$$. Another wealth-transfer scheme.

It really would be a full time effort to unravel the dastardly deeds of lying John and company. I can't think of a reason to do it unless I was running for mayor myself. I'm not. If someone I trusted was in the running, though, I could put more effort into it.
