"A group of nuns touring the country will stop in Racine County next week.
"The tour, known as Nuns on the Bus, is making the drive to raise awareness of the work done by nuns throughout the country, after the Vatican leveled criticism at a group of sisters.
"As reported in the New York Times, the Vatican said the Leadership Conference of Women Religious had 'challenged church teaching on homosexuality and the male-only priesthood, and promoted "radical feminist themes incompatible with the Catholic faith."'
"The New York Times also reported the sisters were 'reprimanded for
making public statements that "disagree with your challenge the
bishops."' For example, the Times reported, during the 2010 health care
overhaul, American bishops opposed the plan, but many on the Leadership
Conference supported it."
Go, nuns! "Radical feminist themes" probably includes the notion that women are equal to men.

Sorry... women are no longer equal to men. Our new legislators said it themselves. It is more important for men to make more money for equal work so they took away state level access to challenge inequities. That'll fix those arrogant single moms.
I also just heard on the news that Manpower is looking forward to an increase in job openings. Sounds about right. Hire in a bunch of desperate people temps at lower than average pay for the same job. They'll have no access to health insurance, nor any hope for retirement or pension. Yea, more jobs. Party on.
I can't comment because I can't say anything good......
Do you think those nuns party like we do on our road trips?
I guy a know his sister signed up to be in a nunnerie or what ever they call it. She couldn’t handle it and when she came home...talk about a party animal, damn did she make up for lost time!
