Νούμερο ένα.

Happy Friday.

Overheard yesterday from a woman taking orders in a sandwich shop: "Do you want lettuce and tomato on your BLT?"

Orbs...sounds like the woman must have gotten a hold of Jed's 5th!

You have to get up pretty early around here to be #1. I'll claim 3 at 1 am. Geech. Now it is off to bed for a short nap. Behave yourselves today. I'll catch y'all later.

5th...dang just in time for the weekend...Sorry Mary, but I think you should be well stacked. Since we Americans throw rice at weddings, do Asians throw hamburgers? Everyone have a P & P day.

I have an excuse - someone was using my computer and it wasn't me. I'll take 6th Jed.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Whoopsie, my bad, good catch Toad, but I don't know... either works.
I've often wondered...Why do we say something is "out of whack"? What's "in whack"?

Jed. You know, Lots of thing are like that, and you have been coming up with some good ones. The Rice/Hamburger one was pretty good. I ran Into a girl yesterday who happened to be the lead person. Is that lead or lead? They have nothing to do with each other unlike read and read. What will we do when we have him and her, and they are both her?

Jed, This could go on forever. When you guy's talk about 5th/ths I can only presume your talking about oldtyme booze. I'll bet some of the youngens don't even know what a 5th Is, other than an amendment.

Well I was thinking while watching the Brewers game the other day...Why do we sing, "take me out to the ballgame" if we are already there?

And why do they call them"stands" if they were made for sitting? OK, I know, shut up, right?

Gee, I didn't think about the younger generation not knowing what fifths are. I've been out of that loop for a long time. A few years ago, I learned that the 4-pack had replaced the 6-pack in beer popularity.
