  5. It has been a long irregular stretch. We had Mr. SER in, well, a precarious situation for a couple of months. No, he wasn't in jail, more like hospital hell. And it just didn't feel right celebrating without him.

Ms. Beejay and Biggie D. should be in town sometime this summer. I know there has been mention of a soiree or fete of some sort in the works. She is currently on the road... elsewhere. I will try to get more specifics when she returns home.

  6. Number 7 and I still beat Jed? Happy Monday everyone. We will be going for 100 today (officially) even though ours said 103 yesterday.

Sassa - Hobby Lobby starts putting Christmas stuff out in July.

  9. I have a bit of arrested development...I love back to school sales since I tend to decorate like I still live in a college dorm.

  11. LM, I like the last place we gathered, or something similar to that. A restaurant/bar with an outdoor area where we can hear each other over the din. My bratwurst at the last place was less than spectacular, but I'm willing to try something else, or somewhere else. Or a picnic, I don't care, just so we can get together.

Beejay usually is kind enough to host a blast when she and Biggie D are in town.

SER, you're OK to make it to a get-together, right?

Hobby Lobby is the earliest store I know of to put up Christmas decorations, but Farm and Fleet is not far behind.
