We went to the fireworks last night too. I tried to take some pictures but I gave up. They didn't turn out for me. Yours pictures are great SER!

Thanks! We would always go to our Vet's office to watch them in Sturtevant. He always had a big party for the fireworks.

Wow! They turned out great! Thanks. With the drought, there was a lot of talk about the fireworks being cancelled. Thanks, Mary, for the ooh and ahhh. That is half the fun.

Toad, I really don't know myself; I have a setting my camera that's for "fireworks". You need a tripod and have to be damn quick at pushing the button when they explode or you lose it. I must have taken 75 pictures and about 75% came out, the rest are little speckles.

SER, Thanks. I tried several time, with a SLR, and NEVER got good photos. It must be a SPEED thing? Maybe the camera has to be set at like 1000 for speed?
