"Iceberg tsunami gone wild!"

"A tourist from Australia came to my uncle and asked if she could get a ride to the glacier just north of Ilulissat, Greenland, so he asked me if I wanted to be his translator. I am from another town where glaciers are fairytales, I was as much of a tourist as the Australian tourist, so I decided to join the crew.

"The beautiful scenery was amazing, but the nature doesn't care about anyone. That day almost became our last day.

Watching that guy get close to dying is as close as I want to get.

Orb's, I have no idea what I was thinking, but I thought maybe they would be In a Helicopter, not a boat. I guess I would have said. HOLY SHIT.

They are very lucky. I've seen bigger avalanches and bigger boats tipping over on television.

I've almost been capsized in a kayak and canoe several times when a big boat, driven by a big dink, whizzed past too closely and left a huge wake. You paddle your butt off to face the oncoming wave. Of course it wouldn't have been tragic, the water I was in wasn't ice.
