Bus Murders 18! "A government official in India says 18 people are dead after a bus fell into a deep gorge after being hit by hurtling boulders during a landslide in the mountainous northeast. Another 17 people are injured."
The Hurtling Boulders are also suspect.
But what's even worse is the DEADLY ROADS! Just imagine how many Indian lives would be saved in India without these killer roads!
"India has the world's deadliest roads, with more than 110,000 people killed every year. Most crashes are blamed on reckless driving, poorly maintained roads and aging vehicles."
Clearly - if we eliminated busses in India, thousands of lives would be saved. Roads also need to be outlawed!
In today's local shopper - there were 8 NOTICES for people being sued by WE Energies - which is unusual for this time of year. This is something I have been noticing on an increasing basis - which means the economy is very tough on racine's poorest. YET - the public employees, RUSD, and Gateway turn a deaf ear. The only ones they care about - are themselves.
Happy Monday all! Had a great weekend with my hubby, off tomorrow for family time then back to the grind of work Wednesday, can we skip from Tuesday straight to Saturday?
Had a good three day weekend relaxing. Highlights includes blackberry picking at Schoop Park of which Tender Heart made some tasty jam out of. I got some pics of a Eastern Phoebe and some Grasshopper Sparrows. Saw a Caspian Tern, but no pics.
Just hoping the heat and the humidity would drift away so I can work a little more comfortable...
Številka ena!
ReplyDeleteI finally ate one of my own tomatoes. Delicious. Almost sweet.
