Yup, that's pretty ugly. Mine Is falling apart. It's a Lazy Boy, (like me) and the entire spring assembly broke, so now I kind of sit In a hole. May be convienent some day?
I've seen much better looking recliners on the curb on garbage day. College age kids call it "outside furniture" once it passes the realm of normal use.
