Several times I've had all formating go away here. Paragraphs turn into one huge block, bold disapears, just a mess. I can't copy and paste with any success and need to write the post in here, to keep any formating. What asm I doing wrong? I've tried both FF and E. No love.
Help me please.
me to! I have written a note to them you to? it seems to help
ReplyDeleteHuck, when composing a blog, make sure that it is in Compose, not HTML, mode. There's a button on the upper left of the screen for switching between the modes. Copy and pasting should retain all formatting in Compose mode. It will lose it all in HTML mode.
ReplyDeleteWhat's FF and E?
ReplyDeleteNot sure what is happening without seeing it in action. You should just be able to use the compose screen, and not even have to type html.
ReplyDeleteI took the liberty to enter your blog to try to decipher the issue. (hope you don't mind) I noticed when I switched to the html screen to see your code, it showed brackets, not carets. When I changed it, your bold selections showed up. Could that have something to do with the failure?
Personally, I always just use the compose screen here at blogger, it is much easier.
Orbs, Firefox and Internet Explorer?
ReplyDeleteYou're probably right, kk.
ReplyDeleteCompose mode can be hinky, too. (It always adds additional lines for me.) I use a combination of the two. I compose in Compose mode, but then go into HTML to clean up or customize.
I notice the extra lines when I paste something. I find the picture aspect to be very hinky. Sometimes, I just post it, "as is" because it is so frustrating. It still beats trying to get Android to function. That really needs some cleaning up....
ReplyDeleteKKD, you get extra lines? My lines go away when I C/P. Thank you to whomever fixed the rant post.
ReplyDeleteI had trouble formatting a post just a little while ago.

"By the way, I had a heck of a time trying to format the above blog. I think Huck Finn is right about the problems. This has to be corrected at the Blogger/Google level."
