I remember watching Samson with awe. He was quite a showman. He enjoyed a surprise smack on the window that elicited a scream or cry from the unexpecting crowd. His raw strength was terrifying.
All species of gorillas are listed as critically endangered.
I remember seeing Samson at the Milwaukee Zoo. He was a Silverback. Anyways, he weighed at one time at an astonishing 625 pounds at lived for than 30 years! He died in 1981.
You’re right Ms. KK, Samson was one smart cookie, he knew just when to smack the window. I swear a couple times that glass was going to come flying out.
And his pure strength was just…Bodacious!
The one in the video had his team under control, one of the little ones was a little slow and he just bumped him/her in the butt to move it along. It made me chuckle

I would crap my pants. That silverback looks like he could break a human in two.
