Hello everyone and welcome back! Is it me, or does everybody has a case of cabin fever? The snow has piled up with nowhere to go. Anyways, some questions for you...
1) What is your favorite thing about spring?
2) How important is it to you that you are on time?
3) Would you volunteer to be one of the first colonists on Mars, even if you could not return to Earth?
4) What is the biggest snowstorm you can remember?
Enjoy your weekend!

1. Leaves on the trees
2. Very. Almost OCD about it
3. Depends on who was going with me.
4. The biggest this century I think is the Groundhog Day Blizzard.
1) What is your favorite thing about spring?
A: My favorite day in spring is May 12th. The tulips are blooming and the leafs on the maple trees are about half way open and bright chartreuse green. The air smells fresh, it's getting warmer, and you don't have to get all bundled up to be outside.
2) How important is it to you that you are on time?
A: It's important to me. I do my best to be on time. I hate it when I am to meet with someone and they are late. I feel they are stealing my time!
3) Would you volunteer to be one of the first colonists on Mars, even if you could not return to Earth?
A: NO!
4) What is the biggest snowstorm you can remember?
A:Feb 2nd 2011.
1. Planting the garden and being able to smell the fresh dirt after watering.
2. I'm always on time as it (for lack of a better phrase), is polite.
3. No.
4. I don't remember an exact snowfall but I do remember in Racine at one point we had 40 inches on the ground. People had to put flags on their cars so they could be seen at intersections.
Thanks Drew.
1. Spring is usually cold damp, and penetrating in Wisconsin, so the answer is when it is over.
2. No job, no schedules, no headaches and still I am always late, In my reality, I usually run on Lombardi time.
3. Only if there is great fishing.
4. The biggest snowstorm :) There has been many including in Alaska, Washington, Wyoming, Montana, Northwest Territories, and the U.P. of Michigan.
Thanks Drew for asking and have a great weekend.
1. The mild temperatures.
2. ALWAYS on time, and i HATE the opposite In people.
3. Heck no. I don't care one bit about Space, other than the Moon. I like the Moon. WHY you ask? Because I can see the darn thing.
4. It was about 1967 I think. We were In school all day, and while we were there, the City got about a foot and a half of snow. NOTHING was moving, and we had to walk down the middle of the street to get home. We followed any tracks left In the snow by busses etc.
GREAT questions Drew. Good job. Thanks
1) The warm weather, sunshine, leaves and flowers blooming and the chirping of the birds.
2) It depends for work yes I have to be there on time or a few minutes early. Family I know it is alright to be a few minutes late.
3) Never
4) That would be a blizzard down in Illinois when I was younger. The snow mounds were half way up the street light pole. We had no school for three days.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
1. Seeing tulips, crocus, daffodils poking their way through the soil. Seeing buds form on trees and my rose bushes. New life, new hope.
2. Way too important... and why? What has being on time done for me, except make me wait for others to show up?
3. No. I don't like "no turning back" propositions. My luck, there'd be a bunch of real jerks that decided to go.
4. There have been others, but I don't recall being actually frightened like I was with the Groundhog Day Blizzard. That was wild.
1) Sunshine and warm air
2) Extremely.....
3) WHell no
4) I thikit was 1978
or '79
1) What is your favorite thing about spring?
The days becoming longer and the darkness and cold begin to go.
2) How important is it to you that you are on time?
I am always on time unless I am late.
3) Would you volunteer to be one of the first colonists on Mars, even if you could not return to Earth?
Maybe...if I felt I had no other purpose to be fulfilled on earth
and my family was given something
for my donation.
4) What is the biggest snowstorm you can remember?
A few years back that I was driving in for over an hour to get home.
1) My favorite thing about spring is EVERYTHING about spring.
2) I'm always on time, too. I hate waiting. A neighbor says at least one hour wait is normal for his doctor appointments. I told him to get another doctor.
3) Why would I want to go to Mars? I've already seen the dark side of the moon.
4) I thought of the snowstorms that Toad and SER mentioned. I was in high school during the first one. I remember that the second one collapsed the roof of a building downtown.
Just removed a spam for Viagra. Geeze, do we really need to see that?
Anyways,
1) Warmer temperatures and the spring migration.
2) I gotta be if I want to keep my job.
3) I'd visit, but the continuous scenery of red rocks on a barren landscape would drive me crazy. I'd pass on the offer.
4) The Groundhog Day Blizzard was bad, but I believe the Winter of '77/'78 was worse.
1. birds, definitely birds. i get to see a million different kinds at my cabin near the mississippi - i can't wait!
2. if it were up to me it wouldn't be important at all.
3. no - my adventuring days are done.
4. the late 70s - i remember living downtown & crossing main st to go to walgreen's & the snow was up to our butts...
