ahaha Mary , after scratching my eye badly and wearing an eye patch and using my bad eye to see, reading your comment looked like you wrote that instead of it being 65, it was actually -52 degrees, that's a huge difference for the weatherman to be wrong! (tho not surprising they're THAT off)hehe
Well Lizardmom, it just goes to prove that people who are temporarily impaired see more than others. I never noticed that until you mentioned it. Good catch!
it was the freakiest thing. Wednesday, later afternoon, my eye started to hurt, so I took my contact out and thought that would do it. When I woke up Thursday, it felt like I had a knife in my eye... never had that before...and my mind started worrying all kinds of things, primarily wondering if it was the lens implant from my cataract surgery 10 years ago shifting. I called and got in to be seen and was told my eye was just scratched... odd since I wasn't doing anything when the pain started, but oh so glad it wasn't what I was worried about. I have to put in precautionary drops for 10 days, and keep my contact out thru the weekend (so much for being able to focus), and rest my eye (eye patch encouraged), leaving my right eye, virtually legally blind ... as my source of sight, yup, going to be a fun, blurry weekend for sure, but I'll be fine :) Mary, I think the fact I was working so hard to focus is what helped me see it, made me laugh :)

ReplyDelete65, partly sunny with a chance for rain.
Reality - 52, cloudy and a cold wind.
Downhill from here as for the next 5 days it will be in the 40's.
