I remember two teachers that left an impression on me, and both were from Park High. Mr. Weidner, and Mr. Radke. They In the course of a class day would alway's add something about life, and the future. I will never forget them.

Orb's, This was an amazing find, and well worth the 11 minute watch. Not only because of his personal life experience, but his method of teaching. Not many teachers learn to involve their students In their lessons, although I wonder If he was a science teacher? That would make the interaction easier.

"He makes me really feel like he cares about me, and I know he does." BINGO. That is exactly what every kid is looking for. The "naughtier" and rougher the kid, the more they need you.

There are heroes in every school. Might not be to the extent of this amazing man, but they exist in large numbers. Next time you hear someone bashing teachers, think again.

He has incredible energy on the job, despite the energy his home life needs. I don't know how anyone could watch this video without tearing up.

When I was in high school I went to Lutheran High, I had one teacher, actually he was a minister, and every Friday all the kids could write down on a slip of paper what they wanted to talk about and he would pull one slip out of the jar and that was the topic of the class. It was amazing how so many kids in the room would get involved in speaking about the subject.

I had nuns and priests for teachers. For the most part, they were monsters.
