Bump! I'm bumping this blog because Racine Transparency has put up a three minute video of Racine's Official Ethics Board Meeting on April 16, 2013. I'm not sure if that's the old guy snoring at the beginning of the video, or just some microphone noise. Of course, there is the travesty of two of lying John's buddies being on the board that is judging him. It looks like they're really going to do it. They're going to make a kangaroo court of the hearings. That takes some audacity. It is spitting in the face of every Racine resident. They're doing it because they can. They're going to get away with it, too.

City Hall is a vicious joke to Racine residents. We pay and pay and pay, and lying John lies and lies and lies. Look at the above pictures. Our city government in action. Who do we complain to about the ethics of the Ethics Board?

IMHO he needs to be asked to step down at once. How can he serve if he can not stay awake?
Then IMHO there is at least one other major issue that may need to be addressed before the real action takes place. Any bets on what?

Trying to find the story about his and the Mayor's trip to France and how much he gave to the Mayor's reelection
The trip to Paris was Dec.5-8, 2011. Apparently, the Journal Times has deleted all references to it around those dates. You will not get search results for "dickert" or "nicholson" or "paris" for the entire month of December, 2911. Oink, oink. No wonder they're packing guns. They want to rewrite history. The only way we'll get rid of lying John is to also get rid of the lying Journal Times. They are partners in crime.

I have to say that I was really disappointed in the number of empty storefronts in downtown. If I recall correctly it wasn't that bad two years ago when we were there. Besides some new businesses west of Green Bay Road on Washington the only major new things were more stoplights. On S Memorial towards Chickory Rd. Lots of empty buildings that had businesses two years ago. Something needs to be changed and it looks to me to be your city leaders.
I wonder what the other Ethics Board members think about Dickert's friends being on the board? I suppose they don't give a damn or they would have said something by now.
Boy, were my parents ever wrong about crime not paying, do the next right thing, what would Jesus do? Cheating and lying pay off big time if you sell your soul to the right devil.

Lying Jim Kaplan gave away taxpayer money, lied about threats, worked to shut down minority owned bars and allowed $100,000 in taxpayer money to be paid to John Dickerts Lawyer!!
The lies won't stop until they are all removed from office, which can't happen soon enough. And people wonder why Racine is in such a sad state of affairs.
What bothers me most about the Dickert Ethics Board farce is not that he got away with it. Dickert has been cheating one way or another for 4 years. I expect that.
What bothers me is that no other city official objected to the obvious conflict of interests on the Ethics Board. Keith Fair might have if he was still alderman.
Mocking the concept of ethics is pretty twisted. They're trolling the entire city. Racine basks in the glow of corruption.
Good point Orbs. A few people on this board should have recused themselves from the matter due to the conflict of interest. Sooner or later the camels back will break, let's hope its sooner.
