  1. if that's a hose he's carrying, he'll be needed in our subdivision, power was out from about 1:30 yesterday afternoon til after 9pm, without sump pumps able to run, I suspect some basements started to flood, as far as I know, we got close but are still fine.

  3. Thunderstorms, pouring rain and some street flooding, Mary. Major tollroads in Chicago shut down. They are lakes. Be careful. Ducks floating in my backyard.

This is very kind, sheriff, but it is kind of like your brother or dad picking out a date for you. ;>

Hope to make it back in time for the reunion, but the warm waters of the gulf keep calling me back in.

  7. Don't think it's gonna happen for us making it back.
Are those Ducks Like the ones from the Dells? Sounds like they would fit in all the flooding you are having.
Don't know what's in store for us on the way back.

  8. Hello everyone, I'm here. Left OKC with 40 degree temps and a nasty north wind. Got to Milwaukee, 40 degrees, north wind and rain.

Went downtown for lunch at Kewpees and they are closed. WTH.
So we went to Deweys where everyone will meet Saturday. Food was great!

You guys definitely have some flooding issues. Water is everywhere.

    See everyone Saturday.
