  2. Good morning and goodbye Irregulars. I am homeward bound this morning. Hopefully my 30 minute difference in arriving and leaving Denver will be enough.

I want to say again how much fun I had meeting you guys. You made my trip nicer.

    Take care everyone!

  5. I'm up but not at 'em. I could use a refreshing ice cold Coke to get me motivated.

Orbs, I remember in grade school at recess time, several of us would lock arms and march around the playground reciting that saying and forcing everyone out of our way. Today that would probably be considered bullying.

  6. Happy trails, Mary.

Can I just say Dang.... ? Enough coughing.

  7. Happy Trails and all that other good shit....

  8. I'm now welcomed by 38 degrees with rain. My luggage didn't make it with me but I knew it wouldn't as we were late getting into Denver. And as always, we arrived at Gate 6 and I was departing at Gate 49. But I made it and I am home.

  9. Good weather followed me back from Florida on Sunday, but the Weather Witch has greater powers than I.
Sorry I missed you Mary, and the JTIrr gathering, next time will be the charm.

  10. I stopped by Kewpees earlier. They were open. One of the waitresses told me that they were closed last week for vacations. I don't know why the put up a "maintenance" sign. Yesterday, Monday, the owner was sick. I know the cleanup guy there, too, and he told me that's the first time in 28 years that he's seen the owner do that. He probably had what kk has. Oh, and for what it's worth, they switched to Coca-Cola as opposed to Pepsi Cola.

  11. wow LizzardMom...how is your vacation going? Are you canning?
Pretty soon you will have to sign a paper, I'll wager, to buy a new pressure cooker.

I hope kk is feeling better now.

  13. NOPE. Just got a call from the doc this evening. I'm quarantined at least until the 29th. So much for the month of April. Dang... I knew it was more than what they were saying.

  14. Is it bronchitis or pneumonia....
pronounced P-neumonia? Did you go on a cruise ship and get Legionnaires?

Get a good dose of steroids if you didn't already,kk. That should come with a Z pack.....if not a chest x ray and culture.

  17. Must be a quinolone family of meds.
Some of the big guns are in this catagory. Did you get a nebulizer?
I had Pneumonia and it gave me a high fever and put me in the hospital for 5 days a few years back.

  18. I wouldn't be so angry had I been "down" that long. They kept sending me back into the fields. Yes, BLB, you have the family tree down pat. No nebulizer. Can I pick that up at the Dollar Store? ;> Started with a 101 fever for 3-4 days while on Tylenol. Then I went back to work. Where were ya 17 days ago?

  19. IIIIIIIII'm HERE, HEAR!!!

Been busy on the East Coast working. For most of the irregulars, working is a now only a memory.

Could not help to take notice of Mary's photo with her prison striped shirt and her hands up in the air, bet is is well versed in her Miranda rights. LOL, LMAO,

Leave it to some wannabee foreigner for not using a brand name like Presto- - - -Bango Pressure cooker

Pressure cookers are now off the shelves in Boston.

Good luck LM and Legal using your pressure cookers in the future.

What is with Basketcase's new avatar, WEIRD !!!

Oh, now time for bedtimes games, let the wars begin.

  23. A nettie pot or steam shower will do the same as a humidified neb....You need an inhaler with "meds" in it. Albuterol/atrovent is often given.
    (Unless you have other contraindications.)

    ReplyDelete
  24. For my friends in JTIrrland,

I have available two nebulizers for use if the need arises.

  25. So does a damp washcloth, in a pyrex measure cup, microwave for about 1-1.5 minutes. Cup your hands over and enjoy. ;p I have the roids (and the rage) but they are in pill form.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I can get a Bong, will that work as a nebulizer?

    ReplyDelete
  27. The only roid rage I knew was
    from hemorroids.....

and no, no more canning, not for quite some time, as far as I can tell
