we can hope. love the no Monday sign, I concur. The caffeine drip is going, now if it will just start to work... Monday's have become my long days, making them worse than normal... bleck...... here's to survival mode...
Weren't they talking about 4 day work weeks before this recession and increase in gas prices? I want legislation, for the people, by the people.... ya right.
Good morning everyone. Getting ready for round three in storms today. Dodged a bullet yesterday so hopefully that will occur again today. Have a good day.
feeling a little less overwhelmed today.. trying to stay positive about the chicken pox scare.. just hoping if it is going to happen that it shows up after we have to fly.. wouldnt mind getting it out of the way just dont want to have to go through rescheduling our flight because of it... Got a few things crossed off my list.. still got 101 things to do but feels good to get a few done.. Starting my work on the wedding cake I'm doing for the weekend.. got my husband baking while I'm doing decorations.. Girls are terrible excited about going to visit Mema and Grandpa..
Mary, I was up half the night waiting for the Big One, and am happy to say, they all stayed away. I'm glad yours stayed away also. Stay alert, It's not over yet. We got a Warning at 1 A.M. but I looked at the Radar, and think he may have been making up for the one they MISSED calling the last time?
OMG! Mary, I am just seeing pictures of your area. 2 elementary schools in the path, the destruction is immense. Potentially 300 mile an hour winds? I'm so glad to hear you made it through!
They kept telling people to get underground as this one was as bad as the May 3, 99 tornado. Truthfully I am at work and haven't seen the footage yet. Don't know if I want to. Breaks your heart.
Hello to the rest of you as well. Of course, with the exception of some of the "anonies", that have the guts to "critilize" and be "grudgemental" and can't fess up to their own identity. : )
I hate it when folk think they are a whole lot better than everyone else on this planet. They sit there like a huge ZIT and pop out shit every once in a while.
You know, watching this coverage could make a person have their wine a few hours early. Could, but won't.
I can honestly tell you that the "conversation about getting a underground tornado shelter" is going to become a purchase. I wasn't in the path of that monster but it still shakes me to the core watching the footage. A small loan to get it done is well worth saving our lives.
BTW - YOU GUYS NEED TO BE ALERT. THIS IS THE STUFF THAT GOT US. PLEASE BE SAFE.

BLB - Stough is a regular Irregular who sometimes forgets to sign in as herself and shows up as her hubby.

I have a weather radio with an alarm for night time.
