BLB, You will be happy to hear, I added an IV stand to my riding mower for BLOOD LOSS from the Mosquito's we raise up here. Hummingbirds have nothing on our Mosquito's. It's just horrible. When they land on an arm or something, It's impossible to even identify them.
Mary, Didn't the Beatles do a song with Tuesday In the lyrics?
BTW. Did you hear about the guy In Racine that wants to sell his ENTIRE Beatles collection? He stated he wanted to sell the entire lot as one. It was In the JT on maybe Sunday? I think It belongs In your hands, or perhaps you can talk him into selling you the one item you just have to have, and If your afraid to ask, I will find the guy's number and call him. Just let me know what you have to have.
Toad - Someone wrote in the blog he should get a professional appraiser to help him. If he has the album Yesterday and Today, it would be worth a lot. The original one with the babies. He does need professional help selling it though. And, Happy Birthday to Paul McCartney who turns 71 today.
speaking of not getting stung by a bee... my youngest (don't worry, she's almost 22, not a little kid) was stung by a bee 2 days ago. Yesterday, it was a red blotch about 4 inch diameter. She kept icing it all day. Today, at work, she discovered it had doubled in size (the red area)... she went straight to prompt care. It was starting an infection and she has a mild allergy to bees... who knew... I called back and asked if they would also prescribe an epi pen for her, as another sting could be more severe, and she's outside alot with sports stuff thru the summer... they said no, she'd have to go to her dr to get one... $35 out of pocket per doctor, she is not going to go in. Quite an expensive bee... antibiotic, steroids, and co pay, poor kid! About the only thing that could have made today any worse, would be if it was a Monday and a full blown full moon... geesh
Toad...are you thinking of The Rolling Stones? RUBY TUESDAY
Songwriters: JAGGER, MICK / RICHARDS, KEITH She would never say where she came from Yesterday don't matter if it's gone While the sun is bright Or in the darkest night No one knows She comes and goes
Goodbye, ruby tuesday Who could hang a name on you? When you change with every new day Still Im gonna miss you...
THE RUBY COLOR WOULD MATCH THE BLOOD LOSS THEME ON YOUR TRACTOR, THUS THE IV POLE. REMEMBER TO RUN IT WIDE OPEN AND REPLACE WITH VODKA AS THE MOSQUITOES WON'T CARE THEN.
Years ago, a buddy walked into the Alano Club and said, "A bee stung me in the neck." Then he got some coffee, sat down at a table, and passed out. They called 911 and almost everyone agreed my buddy had a heart attack, even the EMTs. They started treating him for one. Then someone mentioned the bee sting to the neck. That someone saved my buddy's life. Turns out my buddy is allergic to bee stings. He was in anaphylactic shock and could have died.
Basic Life Support would be activated with respiratory support and manually breathing for the patient. Shock brings low blood pressure, thus IV lines would be started and a volume of fluid would be administered rapidly. If the patient was having a heart attack, epinepherine would be administered IV push. If the patient were stung by a bee, epinepherine would be administered in the muscle (IM shot)....and given oral or IV benedryl (diphenhydramine).
Tuesday afternoon is never ending. Wednesday morning papers didn't come. Thursday night you stockings needed mending. See how they run.
Yep it's "Lady Madonna". One of my favorite Beatles tunes.
I have the original prerecorded cassette of Yesterday and Today. Wonder if that of any value? I know some of my original vinyl records of the Beatles Second Album and Beatles Documentary are. I'm not selling them!

oooo, pretty! I'm happy that this year, at least so far, we've had enough rain to actually keep the grass green
Happy Tuesday everyone.
It's a Tuesday a nice one at that
Lizardmom...how true....and the weeds are really getting quite big in my yard. Hope all the Irregulars are doing well and enjoying the sunshine.

Toad - I'll have to check that out although in reality I do have most of it anyway. Albums and CD's.
Thanks

BLB, Maybe? I never liked them, although I did buy one of their albums.
I thought the same thing BLB did. Maybe Lady Madonna?
