very productive day yesterday, ran a bunch of errands, and with my sister, we secured the wrist corsages for her 3 girls, my mom and our niece, who is her flower girl. We were able to put together the bouquets for the big day , today after work I'm meeting a friend in design at Steins to finish them off with ribbon.I am so NOT creative or artsy fartsy, but I know people! Her wedding is coming way too fast! but we're more and more ready every day :)
My only day off and have to play catchup all day. Step dad is getting worse and I may have to drop everything and go. I'm lucky I have support to watch the house and pets.
Have a great day and I really appreciate all of you for brightening my day each day.
BTW.... a big bullfrog got in my house yesterday and scared me half to death. I have the stupid video of me capturing it while screaming...not afraid of them but he kept jumping at me!
BLB, I hope you are giving Jeremiah a good home :) Jed, gosh no, I'm not the one getting married, one hubby is enough, 24 years in and too much work put into this one - ha! My sister is the one getting married, I'm the maid of honor (anyone who calls me a matron shall die, it makes me sound ancient!)
Ha! Good to see you, Jed. There isn't enough beauty sleep in this world to.... ah, nevermind.
I've just been busy. Sorting through and cleaning and doing all the chores I've neglected over the school year. Where does all this dust come from! Being allergic to it, it is a double edged sword. Bad if you leave it, worse if you stir it up. (so, I'm itching and bitching)
I put the A/C unit in my apartment window. The days and nights aren't bad, but the late afternoons and early evenings are hot. The sun bakes the west side of our brick building. The apartments on that side feel like kilns. The bricks are still radiating heat hours after the sun has set.
That's one smart pooch. G'night all!

Happy Wednesday everyone. We got a new table for the new tv yesterday and now I have to figure out how to hide the wires in the back.
ReplyDeleteLizardmom - I am just like you. Not creative so basically I think I am screwed.
Have a good day everyone.
Hey.. Hey... As Jack "she's a" Brickhouse would say.
ReplyDeleteI'm 5th and loving it.
Mary...I can help you with those damn wires. Geez LM is getting married, BL is getting possible warts, KK is getting her beauty rest...life's good.
Everyone please go out and P & P, we have not heard that in a while.
BLB, Are you certain It wasn't a TOAD. LOL
ReplyDeleteMary, They make covers for multiple wires. I believe Best Buy would be you Best Bet. Hee, Hee.
ReplyDeleteLM- Everything will come together and just to let you know I am the same way as you when it comes to artsy stuff so don't feel bad.
ReplyDeleteBLB- We pray everything gets better with your Step Dad. That video probably is funny with you screaming to catch the frog.
Mary- We are happy you have your new t.v. and table. I have no idea how to hide the wires either.
Jed- Nice to see you back again and happy to see you have your 5th that you deserve for being gone.
Jed and Toad. My b-i-l told me to get some "tubes" to put the wires in. I may have to stop at Best Buy.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!
Mary, you have a Grainger Store in you neighborhood? they'll have some or tell them you need some 1" x 1" raceway.
ReplyDeleteBLB, I hope you are giving Jeremiah a good home :)

Dickert is in France again on our dime. What a prick.
ReplyDeleteSER - I'm not sure. I did a search and we have a Grainger warehouse. I'll give them a call and ask.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your help.
