Morning everyone!
Husband off on a 3 day road trip. I am dog sitting. Been a long time since I had 2 dogs in the house. Thinking mine is NEVER going to sleep! Please don't let it rain tomorrow.. I need these two outside!

ORBS - did you get your computer problems worked out yet?

I have a friend who has Road Runner and it was running slow due to his browser. I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and set it as his new default Browser. I also had to update many of the plug-ins, as Firefox instructed me to do.

Be sure to clean and defragment your discs regularly - it also helps to clean out your browsing history from time to time.

Hope the computer is running up to speed.

I was up until 2:30 this morning, but not surfing the same youtubes as "you know who." The phone rang this morning before 8 am. By the time the machine picked up, I was wide awake. The caller left no message. Grrrr. Not a great way to start the day.

It was not me who gave KK a ring, for I was lost in nerdville.

Poor Jed... working in Nerdville. Just a couple more weeks and it is back to Insanity Lane for me. I've *so* been enjoying the peace and quiet and a normal amount of sleep.

I will be leaving for the southern skies. My step dad just passed away
and time to move on for the help my mom in her time of need. She is so distraught as are the rest of us.

well, it's been a very full month. July 3rd, I went in to the dentist to see what we had to do to fix me up (rather extensive and scary going in). Today, I got my permanent crowns (2) installed, just in time to have it complete in just under a month. I'm still a bit self conscious but a couple awesome regulars of mine, who didn't know I was having anything done, have given me a wonderful boost and compliments, almost making me cry :) I almost feel normal, well, as close to normal as I can achieve... what a wild ride, glad it's done and finished!

I'm still in the process, Liz. Pain in the butt (and the mouth) not being able to chew on one side. It will be a total of 6 weeks by the time the last one is done.

Sorry to hear of your loss, BLB. I hope you and mom get through this OK. Prayers given.

No, my internet connection is still screwed up. It ran great for a day, but started acting up again today. At times, I can't get online at all. TWC says they're monitoring my apartment building for "signal loss." That sounds exactly like my problem. However, they're still blaming my computer.

One of the techs suggested installing a new Ethernet card. I think I have one in the closet. I'm going to be pretty busy for the next few days, so it may be awhile before I get around to installing it.

If that doesn't fix it, I don't know what I'll do.
