Good morning all. I got to watch the Packers last night and all I can say is they need a lot of work. Both offense and defense looked bad. What is this, game three and no touchdowns for Aaron? I hope this isn't an indication of how the season will be.
I talked to my mom last night and she said that the appraiser told her the house is totaled and she better get everything out right away before the roof completely falls down. Now my mom has to get a storage shed to put everything in and go to the stores to see if she can get boxes to pack everything.
The people were there yesterday to get the tree off the roof but did not put plastic on there so my son and his friend put plastic on the roof for my mom.
We should have had a party. I was up until 3 am, too. Not a big deal when you don't have an alarm set. All that will be changing soon, though.
THB, I hope your mom had insurance. What a huge, terrible job they have ahead of them.
We actually were able to see the game, despite the network and cable companies. I didn't actually watch much of it, but it was in the background. Funny how I really miss it when it isn't there, but when it is, I'm not glued to it.
After the week I had, of long hours, long drives and long classes, I can't believe I didn't collapse until nearly 10 last night. I woke up at 7 but did not want to get up, so I just stayed put and rested, sleeping off and on til it was 10. Next up, getting human, getting my neighbors dog out and having a bit of fun then heading to the hubby for our anniversary weekend. See ya all on the flip side!

We decided to come home last night got home about 12:30am. We got a lot accomplished in that time. Was glad my son was there to help. Most of the living room is done but the couches and chairs, kitchen done but pots and pans and one out of three bedrooms done. We ran out of boxes to finish so my son is getting some from his work on Monday for my mom.
My mom does have insurance on the house so that is not a problem. Now she is saying she may not want another trailer they may just move instead. She is staying with my older sister right now in Appleton.
Insomnia. You suck
ReplyDeleteIt sure does suck.....
ReplyDeleteHave a good one, everyone.

THB What a mess. I too hope she has insurance as there will be money for her to go find a place to stay for a while.

I had insomnia a couple of weeks ago. Yes, it sucks. I'm back to sleeping like a bear.

I'm up. You up? S'up?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a camping trip is coming up - soon.
