I know I haven't kept up with my Fall pictures. I am sorry about that but I do have some really nice pictures here for you. I do enjoy going out to take the pictures so I can share them with you. I also heard on the news yesterday that this is just the start of the Fall colors. So here are some more pictures!

I know some of the pictures do not have any Fall colors yet that is why I am putting them on here to show you how they will be changing soon. Some of it depends on the weather and the way the sun shines on the trees. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
The colors keep on getting better, keep bringing them on.
ReplyDeleteWow, how beautiful/
ReplyDeleteIs Bong closed due to the government shutdown? I drove past there today, and lots of people were pulling over, but not entering.
ReplyDeleteBong is open, and so is BLB's hospitality, so stop by next time
ReplyDeleteI think the weather should stop advancing during the government shutdown.
ReplyDeleteBong is a STATE Recreational area, therefore it is open. So are all state parks. Any Federal funded park is closed due to the government shutdown. This includes Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. Nicolet and Chequamegon National Forests. There is no no hunting, fishing, hiking, birding nor trespassing allowed.
ReplyDeleteHighways that pass through any of these places remain open.
The southern third of Horicon is open, because it is a State Wildlife Area.
Thank you everyone for the nice comments.
ReplyDeletekk- I was worried about the government shutdown too. I just feel so bad for all of the rangers that are out of jobs. Drew and I talked to a ranger at Bong before the shutdown and he said he would be out of work but the recreational area will be open. But you will be camping and walking around at your own risk. That is with all of the state parks. I feel so bad for all of the people because of the government.
I like the bright reds in fall. Euonymus, "burning bush," turns a brilliant crimson. Red maples can be gorgeous this time of year.
