"RACINE- The aldermen of the City Of Racine have voted to approve raises
totaling over $30K for the Mayor, Administrator and assistant!! As the
documents from the 2014 city budget show, there are 3 employees
including the mayor himself, each one of the 3 employees are raking in
approx $129,777.00!!!!! There is a clear raise from $276,993.00 in
administrative salaries in 2013, to the new and improved $307,343.00 in
2014, that’s an over $30K raise for the mayor’s office!!!! Don’t worry
though, none of your elected officials or aldermen even questioned this
move!! What the aldermen of Racine “DID DO” however is raise your
property taxes 2.2 percent and also raise the recycling fee an
additional $5 because the city is broke, they also raised the storm
water fees for residents up an additional $7.51!!!!!!"

I guess lying John doesn't feel our pain. He's giving raises to himself and staff while destroying our city. What a monster Dickert is. The taxpayers pay more and more for less and less. The administration has said repeatedly that we are broke. Yet, somehow, they find a way to reward lying John and his pals for their malfeasance. $100K salaries for jobs that require no more than a high school diploma. Meanwhile, Dickert pisses on us, cuts our services, and raises our taxes while flying overseas on our dime.
Why don't lying John's pals have to pay proerty taxes? Why are the rest of us forced to susidize tax cheats?

HEY! Lying John's a TAX FARMER - and the harvest has been good. He's packed the boards and commissions with family and friends. He's bought the loyalty and duplicity of his minions by giving them lavish pay raises and tax-free benefit packages. You can't beat City Hall!
So you elect a different mayor - what changes? The current Fascist Administration is worse than the NAZIS - a new Mayor would have to throw everybody off the boards and commissions and fire every department head and supervisor.

A person of integrity could pull it off, but it would be difficult. It would take years to clean up the mess. But people of integrity rarely want to serve in politics these day. It's become such a sewer of self-interest and lies that only the selfish and liars survive. People who put the good of the community before their private interests are turned off by the filth and corruption.
Wow, when I first read this blog I was going to make a comment but I had to cool down otherwise I’m sure by tomorrow I would have been in the Hoosegow.
So I looked up delinquent taxes for Racine Delinquent Taxes. I copied the file to excel to get a total dollar amount owed and the grand total is $12,699,745.49.
We have a mayor (and that’s using the term loosely) that wants and gets a rise but can’t get people to pay their taxes.
There are 26 who owe more the $100,000.00 and the top amount is $346,161.26.
This information is from the website http://www.revenue.wi.gov/delqlist/ctallr.htm. By state law anyone owing more than $5,000.00 must be posted on the internet.

RACINE — The city has no plans to challenge a Wisconsin Court of Appeals decision requiring it to honor previously rescinded collective bargaining contracts with three unions.
Mayor John Dickert said Wednesday the city “needed to know” whether or not Acts 10 and 32 invalidated the contracts, and now that it has its answer there is no need for further appeals.
“We had to find out for the taxpayers,” Dickert said.
ROFLMAO. Those who know John Dickert KNOW he was very popular in High School - but not a good student. Face it Racine - you didn't elect someone who is smart, competent, or compassionate. You elected a socially manipulative popular guy who has ASSHOLE GAME.

Btw, I know Becker was a bully growing up. Does anyone know if Dickert was one, too? St Cat's loved bullies back in the day. They ran my class with an iron fist. If anyone stepped out of line, there was hell to pay in gym class. In one class, a highly regarded man today was the coach. We were playing kick ball. He had 6 of us around the circle in the center of the gym. Instead of just throwing the ball into the circle, he stuck it up the back of one kid's shirt. Everyone immediately began kicking that student. Today that man receives honors from Racine. I'll never forget the terrified look on that kid's face. The place was geared to produce sociopaths, misfits, and victims.
And that's not even touching on the priest who had his "special" boys over for breakfast every morning and drinks at night. He touched me once and I let him know where I stand. Thereafter, he called me "the ostracized one" and he made every effort to denigrate and alienate me. Those were the days, eh? Solid Catholic values.
