Ring-Tailed Poot Sighting



After Charlie gets his evening treat, he likes to nap in a tent made by hanging a robe from a doorknob. He's also claiming the space underneath the kitchen sink as his.

Cabinets. My God. We didn't have normal kitchen cabinets in the old place. Charlie loves to open the cabinets and crawl in. He even got up to the second level to grab some catnip.

Now when he wants attention, he pulls a cabinet door open slightly and then lets it slam shut. He does this repeatedly until I respond. Even negative attention is better than no attention.

He's developed a liking to the left side cabinet under the sink. I've left that empty for him.

As a cat-loving friend once asked, "Who owns whom?"

By the way, I love dogs, too. I always wanted one when I was growing up, but we lived in a flat with just a strip of grass. It's been apartments for me since and I think a dog should have at least a yard to run/play in. Maybe not one of those little lap dogs, but real dogs love open space. I can't provide that.
