My boss gave me the option of taking a snow day. We didn't get that much, only a few inches but with the winds it feels like 15 below. Work will be deader than a doornail so what do my Irregulars think I am going to do?
NOTE: To all of my JTI friends, I have been somewhat absent from the computer for the last few days's because of a death In the family. Greg was a good guy, and would give a person the shirt off of his back, and to go at 66, two day's after his birthday, Is a shame, and he will be missed. My little dog Daisy, who Is pretty much all skin and bones because of diabetes couldn't be found In the house this morning. I finally found her squeezed between two chairs among other things. She couldn't walk, and looked horrible. I put pancake syrup all over her mouth to raise her sugar level, and sure enough, after 10 minutes, she was up, and walking all over again. Amazing, but It's now a one day at a time thing. Anyhow to say the least my screwed up head can't handle all of these things happening, and have just been too darned screwed-up to even turn the computer on. So, hopefully, after things calm down (I'm praying) I probably won't be myself. I just wanted my bestest friends, I didn't forget about them.
Toad, we are here to support and help you through. When things were crazy in my life, the JTI was where I came for sanity. Someone always said something to make me laugh when inside I felt like screaming.
I had some sort of vibe about you,Toad. I posted it the other day.
Sorry about your loss and warm condolences sent your Way.
Good job with dog. I took care of a diabetic dog for 2 years giving him shots of insulin . Finally he looked frail and I said to myself this is about the dog and not me. I put him down soon after that.
