Lizardmom, I already have the cold and I think kk had it before me. So far, it's not the worst one I've ever had - knock on wood.
I'm a firm believer in Vitamin C supplements and I used to take 3 1000 mg. tablets every day, but I couldn't afford them anymore. I believe that C wards off colds for me. I'm taking some again. Charlie will just have to give up his catnip allowance to pay for it.
A tip from a friend, but I haven't tried it: Alka Seltzer Cold and Flu. He says it's very good at reducing congestion.
With your asthma, Lizardmom, your doctor probably knows best. Or maybe you do.
My car right now says it is 40 degrees outside. I took off my coat in the car because it is so nice out there. I hope everyone gets to be outside before it starts to rain. Have a great weekend!
Beware the "puddles" on the road. Some are actually potholes. I hit one with my left front tire and thought I'd have a blowout. It threw up enough dirty water that it was like driving through a wave.
They're cold-patching everything, but they can't keep up.
I wish it felt like spring! Nebulizer is getting a work out, so far I'm hanging in, but if worse comes to worse, we know how to get to Franklin's awesome ER :)
Orbs: celebrate the week of me! Lol. Actually, just rest, recover and de-stress. If I can get some stuff cleaned up and organized, that would be a bonus.
Happy Friday! I think I have a cold or something respiratory brewing, time for lots of fluids and lots of rest, as soon as I get home!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday.
ReplyDeleteWe might even hit 40° today!

We are in the 60's today, 30's tomorrow, 70 by Monday and winter storm on Wednesday. You've got to take the bad with the good.
