Still lazing in bed and loving it! Why does the week go by so quickly when you are off?

not breathing much today, finally caved in at work and called the dr, she phoned in steroids, should be good as new in a couple days, then I'll be able to handle big projects in record time, gotta make the most of out it while I can!

Maybe you should rest and let those medications do their job?My grandma always said that the dirt was around way before we were, and will still be around long after we are gone. The projects aren't more important than recovery.

agreed, KK, for the 1st couple days, but then the super powers kick in and load me with an insane amount of energy, that if I don't use it up, it keeps me up all night, figure that should kick in around the start of next week. This weekends plan is to rest except for what I have to work. I have a good excuse to be a bum, and plan on taking full advantage :)

Lizardmom, what you say is exactly what another friend of mine who has asthma bad said. She said the steroids were like being on speed. She also said that they made her very cranky and irritable, but I've never know you to be that way, LM.

Woo, woo! I'm a night owl. Last night I got caught up in a documentary about Kamikaze pilots. Netflix is keeping me off the web.

Oh, I finally received my check from FedEx today. It only took their "5 to 7 day claims processing" 19 days to get around to me.

They also promise to respond to complaints within 48 hours, but they didn't respond to my first complaint at all, so I made a complaint on that complaint. Again, no response.

Also, no response from claims.status@fedex.com unless I called them and told them that I had sent an email. This happened repeatedly. They advertise the email address, but they don't monitor it.

Wtf kind of a way is that to run a company?

Glad the money finally came, orbs.

I felt the steroid energy surge when they put me on high dosage. The problem is, you feel well, when your really aren't. You need to fight the urge to overdo so you don't burn up energy that you need to use to get well. I remember washing windows when I was deathly sick because of the roid rage.

the 1st time I got put on high dose, I wanted to kill people, called the pharmacy and ask if that was a normal side affect, would have been nice to be warned. At least I understand it now and it takes alot to control it til the worst is over
