Thanks for the reminder. I don't fish anymore but I remember dragging home pailfuls of perch from North Pier when I was a kid. You literally couldn't give them away. Everyone already had their freezers stuffed with perch.
I hated cleaning them, but I sure liked eating them.
Back when "Power Lines" where legal and you could have a 1/2 dozen hooks on them. Actually I think they are still legal but you can only put 2 hooks on them and it isn't worth it.
Yes Orbs, you could go down there with a power line and a 5 gallon pail and fill it in an hour with some beautiful perch.
