RUSD - bahaha
ReplyDeleteALL RUSD SPENDING NEEDS TO BE APPROVED BY THE PEOPLE OF RACINE NOT JUST THE KNUCLE HEADS ON THE BOARD...!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe people elect the board to make the decisions. Usually voter turn out for those elections is low. The real problem lies in apathy. People don't pay enough attention to who is running for office or how those elected to represent us are voting. Voters simply choose representatives by incumbent name recognition.
ReplyDeleteRUSD board meetings are open to the public. The rare times those meetings are well attended is when there is a major public change proposed that has media coverage.
Minutes are also printed in the newspaper along with who voted for what. Of course you need a magnifying glass to read the tiny print.
