Mom has to stay a bit longer in the rehab... she came for a home visit with the physical therapist and almost fell backwards by her closet with her walker...that is why she smashes her head so bad. Balance is the issue. Bought her 10 more days.

Rough days ahead.
The heart is a tough, yet so very delicate thing, it needs to be guarded and protected, especially if you have someone else's.
Our nephew took his life a couple days ago, we found out last night. His fiancé didn't take care of his heart and he couldn't live any more without it. .
huge dysfunction in the family and hubby and I are the buffers between them, rough place to be. We're supposed to be at a wedding this afternoon yet feel needed here with them, so torn, so hurting, I feel numb and lost. I don't like to say I have favorite neices or nephews, but this one had a special close place in my heart that has been shredded

Oh, I'm sorry this happened, Lizardmom. This is the kind of tragedy that can take years to heal, if ever. My condolences to you and especially to his family.

So sorry LM...Suicide is such a terrible thing because it could have been prevented usually, but most of those involved have not enough knowledge of what is really going on inside of that person. It is one of the most hurtful ways for all involved.
