I had to go and get a CT done this morning I have a mass on my kidney and will find out the results when I see my doctor on the 17th. Then find out someone at Drew's work stole another one of his sodas and when I went to see him for lunch I had to bring another one.
A couple days back, a company went through the apartments and installed energy saving bulbs and shower heads.
Today I get a note that the guys reported my apartment as having an overpowering odor and being dirty. This is after I cleaned up for these guys beforehand. The letter said management would be coming through my apartment on Sept. 5 to inspect.
I immediately went down to the manager's office and asked her to come up to my apartment and take a look.
The "overpowering odor" is my incense. The manager could find nothing else wrong with my apartment. I don't have a lot of furniture but I have boxes. Maybe those guys considered boxes "dirty."
My good news: new job, new outlook, new me. (Maybe my "old" me just coming back) I paid my dues, I survived out of my element, I grew. Everything for a reason? Maybe, but I'm glad I passed the test and it is over.
Orbs : sorry things are causing you grief. I had self-inflicted computer problems this week, too. I deleted a program version because I believed it to be an older, unecessary duplicate. I was wrong. The computer wouldn't allow me to redownload it, as it still thought I had it loaded... grrr. Finally figured it out. You will figure it out, too.
THB: Our good thoughts and well wishes are with you while awaiting the results.
KK, congratulations! Hope this job is better than playing cop.
My desktop shortcuts aren't working. I have to hit each one 4 times to get a reaction and then there's 4 versions of Firefox running and I need to shut three down.
What I do now to start it from a shortcut is hit the icon 4 times. Then it finally shows up. I then go into Task Manager and stop each instance of firefox.exe except for the one making the largest draw on CPU power.
I read the support blog and they are talking about programs that I'm not familiar with. FF never shows in my taskbar.
You have Chrome installed, don't you? Are you having this issue when using Chrome?
Did you look at Windows Task manager to see if anything looks unusual, other than 4 instances of FF?
I think I'd still do a full "threat" scan with your anti-virus while in safe mode and let malwarebytes scan as well. It could be less of a FF issue and more that something has a hold of you.

Hello, Friday. You're like Monday to me.

I'm pissed at them
Oh, and suddenly Firefox won't load for me.
THB, I hope the mass on your kidney is benign. Take care of yourself.

Has Charlie been visiting Kitty porn pages again? Did you try starting in safe mode and running a scan?
Orbs: just looked it op on Google. You are running XP still? Someone posted a quick fix that worked was a system restore. Wouldn't hurt to try that?
tried a system restore, It didn't work. It only has once, when I had Windows 98 SE.
This is exactly the issue I am having: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/917397?page=1
