William Tell Overture
When was the first time you heard the William Tell Overture?
For me I'm sure it was the first time I watch the Lone Ranger. When that was I have no idea but I'm sure I was knee high to a grasshopper.

WHY did I post this. While laying down trying to fall asleep, my little brain cell must have banged itself on the inside my head, it happens all the time.
For some reason it popped out the William Tell Overture and I thought what the hell, share it with the rest of the Irregular folks.
I think we all heard this first with reference to the Lone Ranger.
This is my favorite classical song, and is probably a better one to be listening to at 3 am....

Larks are passerine birds of the family Alaudidae. All species occur in the Old World, and in northern and eastern Australia. Only one, the horned lark, is native to North America. Habitats vary widely, but many species live in dry regions.
Larks used to be cigarettes, too.
I don't want to hum that while driving through town - I want to broadcast it from speakers mounted on top. Take that, boom cars.
Lark cigarettes advertising used the William Tell overture as their theme song during the sixties and seventies. Old people would know that.
I've seen many Horned Larks out on the country side roads during the winter.
