I'm feeling quite sleep deprived. So much on my mind, so many hurting people, I need to find my happy place. My niece’s engagement has been broken off, she is the sister of my nephew that took his life. I think that family has had enough hurt. A kid (20ish) from work, will be losing his grandpa this week sometime. His grandpa is and has been a permanent fixture as a daily regular. H broke his back last week and is refusing further treatment :( there are others, but those are the top 2. Too much hurting :(

So much pain and suffering. May it all pass soon. Life seems to throw things at us in bunches.

I'm going to a happy place myself. None of needs any of the sadness that seems to abound.

the sun is shining but it's the only bright spot, we got the news during a meeting at work, that Norb passed away :(
His grandson is off the next 2 days, no word yet on arrangements. Norb has been an early morning staple for over 25 years, he was an awesome guy, and our 'resident democrat', he even had quite a few groupies. He will be very much missed.

Bless Norb. I wish his grandson peace. Losing a loved one is so difficult.

I hope you will soon find another enlightened soul to replace him. I remember having these Railroad retirees who would come in to see me just to discuss whatever. It was a delight.
