  2. We were caught in a horrendous downpour yesterday. But, it was a warm rain. Temps were in the mid-80s. By the time we got home, I was a bit chilled. And so was Biggy D. He hurt a muscle in his right thigh over a week ago ....I mean really hurt it. Given that, there was no running through the rain. Poor guy. We see his orthopedic dr tomorrow....maybe they have some secret treatment that the ER didn't.

  4. OKIE- That is great news I am so happy for you. It is great to hear that hubby can do his own driving now. Let him know we are so happy for him.

Beejay- I am so sorry to hear about Biggy D I hope he gets better very soon and good luck with the doctor. Please keep us up to date on what is happening with him.

LM- So you had to finally cave in to turn the heat on in your house. The layers didn't help no more. I didn't even turn it on last night here. I have had it off for about three days now.

  5. Okie. Is he good in the passenger seat? Sometimes mine is, and others, not so much!

  6. I've had the heat on. I caved a long time ago. My resistance must be weakening.

Sorry to hear that Biggie D. is ailing. Hope it clears up soon!

Ladies, give the guys a blindfold. They should be thankful you take the time and care enough to drive them.

  7. He is a good rider. Most of the time he is lying down with his head in the back seat.
He made it today even with lots of driving so things seem to be getting better. I hope so as in a few weeks he will have to get Christmas decorations down from the attic.
I've checked with LM and she will be delayed due to company for Thanksgiving. I'm not waiting that long.

  9. Since we are having Thanksgiving in SC, mine will wait until the first week of December. All my sweet Father Christmases will come out to scare Sable. Lol. Then I put the hat on the cat and she goes crazy.

I do minor outside decorating. A wreath on the door, a few lights...that's all I need.

  10. My decorating gets to be less and less every year. The duration of festivities is also reduced. Come Jan 1, down it goes.
