Dear Madame Zoltar

Hello, my frosty friends!  How are you?  Winter will soon be upon us.  Thank you Ms. Minnesota Chick, but please don’t thank me for your recent moderate weather.  Mother Nature is bat-shit crazy.  I asked her, but who knows why she does the things she does?  She’s so wacko, she’s like a burnout or PTSD.  Find a shrink for Mother Nature!

Our heroic and stoic Green Bay Packers routed the Chicago Bears.  Next up, the Philadelphia Eagles, this Sunday, Nov. 16, 3:25 PM, at the Eagles’.

In the Irregular Football League, I wrestle for last place with Mr. OrbsCorbs.  It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

It was good to see such a strong turnout in the recent elections.  As for the end results: “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”  I’m sorry, but I don’t see many jobs coming to Racine. Nor much joy, except for the rich and/or connected.

As you probably already know, there have been numerous media stories and blogs on “Justice for Angel.”  Angel was the dog owned by a local man. The police shot and killed Angel during a standoff.  Some people are very upset: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Justice-4-Angel/770670289647802

Thank you for reading my blog, my dears.  We should huddle together if we get too cold.  We should huddle together in any case.

RIP, Angel.  I get emotional when an innocent is killed.  I love you all!

  1. Madame, I don't really know anything about the breed, but if the dog was turning and was shot, the officer needs to be fired. It sounds like Chief Howell, doesn't think It was a problem? For the life of me, I can't see pointing a pistol at, and shooting a dog, for ( as I see It ) no reason.

when will the senseless killing of pets cease in our beloved towne?

will officers really be charged for pointing weapons at citizens?
will officers be really be charged with witness intimidation?
will the incident commander really be charged of misconduct?
why was armed intruder onto Hanson's property not charged?
is it only a fool that would bring a machete to a gun fight?
did the police really shoot the dog out of spite?
why did racine police fail to collect video from the scene?
why did racine police fail to take witness statements?
i have so many questions without answers.
can you do a repost today and share with us your wisdom ?
    please help me

  3. I think huddling together is a grand idea, Madame. The world has gotten too cold, in more ways than just temperature.

The release of the video leaves a lot of questions as to the reason for a weapon being fired. Sounds like everyone behaved poorly and the dog paid for it with its life. Tragic.

If there is an "internal" investigation, I have no doubt what the verdict will be. Even if it goes to another law enforcement community, sadly, due justice is often not served. They tend to protect their own.

  4. Dear Ms. Bond,

    Thank you for your comments.
All of my contacts with RPD have been negative.
I'm not investigating them for fear of being shot.
