I would be more than happy to sing you the "Coconut" song by my buddy Harry, but my sound Is out. If I lived LOTS closer I could also make my cure all Chicken Noodle Soup. It works wonders. Get better real quick. Like my goofy mom always said. "Think how good you will feel when you get better"
Goodness, too much stuff going around. Some schools are missing so many kids and staff, they are contemplating having to close for a few days.
Got a phone call a couple of nights ago that said Pertussis (whooping cough) was diagnosed in "someone" within the school. Yikes.
Many of the childhood illnesses we all had, and our children were vaccinated against, are making a comeback. They are saying that even those who've had them, or been vaccinated, can possibly still succumb. The strains have changed enough, or immunity has waned. We were under the false assumption (and so was the medical field) that we had lifelong immunity after suffering through it once.
Get more gooder sheriff.
