I made it to midnight.... insomniac that I am. Two paddy wagons were out in front of my house tonight. Preceding that, some woman was yelling and cursing in the street like a sailor. Someone went to jail. Geech, New hillbilly neighbors. Let's hope that 2015 is less exciting.

I was in bed before 5, too tired to stay up any later, just sad... woke with a killer sore throat, guess I'll have to be a mime at work today :)

Had dinner at some friends' place. Home before nine. In bed at 11. That's late for us. Poor Sable was a bit funny when we came home. I think the neighbors behind us had some fireworks earlier. She jumped into my arms when I came in. Didn't want me to put her down. Poor baby. Settled down quick enough though.

Working on the undecorating of the house today. Did a little yesterday. But first, A WALK.

Happy New Year everyone!

Gonna de-decorate the outside this morning before the alleged rain/snow comes.
Then watch the Badgers win.
Then, work on my list of goals and how I want to improve myself for this year. Maybe I just need a little tweaking.

Happy New Year everyone. We seen the ball drop in New York then went to bed Drew is not feeling good the last two days. He just keeps coughing and says he feels like he has a head cold. I told him that is because of going out in the cold mornings doing his birding. He don't believe me.

Woke up to "stay inside, don't drive, we are having an ice event."

THB, I hope drew gets better. There is some shit going around. When I saw my gastroenterologist last week, his receptionist kept coughing into her arm. Later, the doc told me his regular assistant had to go home sick. If I'm going to get that shit, that's where I got it from.

THB is an excellent nurse. I can attest to that. The ham and bean soup was great.

I'm up all night anyway, so last night was no different. A friend was over and when he went to leave it was 1:30 AM. We had talked right through midnight.

Unlike my previous apartment, there were no guns going off here at midnight; just snoring.

Daddy Orbs- I had to make sure you would get better because we all want you around for a very long time. That is how much we all care about you. I am glad you had company over for the New Year's Eve that is great. If you want more soup I still have more just let me know.
