the sun is shining! woo hoo!!! OKIE, today is the dreaded day. Thankfully my neighbor still lights his tree every night, it's not over until he pulls the plug! We still have a couple neighbors who have their outdoor lights still on nightly. No hurry to lose that!
I have been putting up half of my 7 foot tree on top of an end table for the past few years. It was still a big job.
I've figured out a way to make my decorating easier next year, and I'm going with it. I plan to use just the tree topper and the next row, with a makeshift pole holder. I think my plan will still be "festive" enough, but cut down on the workload.
I think taking things down is always more work. I'm usually less excited about it after the holiday is over.

I don't envy you LM. But that being said, taking them down is a whole lot easier than putting them up. Good luck today in your adventure.
