From Racine County Eye:

"Racine-area McDonald’s are participating in the Pay with Love
promotion, and customers from around the area are getting happily
surprised when offered the opportunity to pay for their orders with an
act of kindness or love.
"The restaurant chain advertised Pay with Love during the Super Bowl Sunday; the promotion runs until Valentine’s Day.
"Felina Coleman posted a video Monday of a woman calling her father and telling him that she loves him 'to the moon and back.'
"Coleman and her co-workers can be heard saying, 'Aww' and clapping for the customer.
"Each store will hand out 100 free meals at pre-determined times throughout the day, according to a story at Good News Insider.
"Official rules state that each location’s manager – the Lovin’ Lead –
will choose the times between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. Acceptable acts
of kindness could include fist bumping the cashier, calling someone to
say 'I love you,' customers hugging their companions or blowing someone a
kiss.
"A McDonald’s spokesperson told AOL the goal is to increase customer happiness."

i think its a great idea. But what if you are in the drive thru?
Quarter pounder with cheese, fries and OMG, a chocolate shake. Hmm...
I think It's a CROCK of shit. I don't eat McDonald's, but I would rather peruse the customers, and BUY their meal myself.
All kinds of ways this could go pear shaped.
"Call your mom and tell her you love her."
Customer: "My mom died."
"Oh, I'm sorry. That will be $7.42"
Or
"Kiss your girlfriend".
Customer: "That's my sister".
"That will be $10.15".
Good one Hale
hale-Bopp, You remind me of an old story of my DARK HUMOR.
When I was working In Materials, we had a daily (NUTS) meeting to go over shortages from all departments. My Boss who liked to act like a LION when conducting the meeting would ask for dates when something would be completed. Every year In March someone would alway's come up with the date March 11th. to which I would say "Oh that's my mom's birthday" George would say "Oh wish her a Happy Birthday", and I would say "I would, but she's dead" The first time I did It, He was just kind of surprised. The 2nd, 3rd, and last time he was pissed. It made me happy as hell, because everybody else was afraid of him. They had no Idea he was just a great actor.
