"Racine, Wisconsin – The partnership of
Coming Together Racine and the Racine Public Library invite the community to
hear a panel discussion on Racine’s criminal justice system, moderated by Reggie
Jackson, Chairman of the Board of America’s Black Holocaust Museum. An overview
will be given by Racine Chief of Police Arthel Howell; Racine County District Attorney Rich Chiapete; Public Defender Margaret Johnson; and Judge Jack Jude. They will
discuss the process of making an arrest, charging and defending an individual
with a crime, and sentencing a convicted individual. The program will be held
on Tuesday,
February 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. upstairs in the Adult Department. Light refreshments will be
served.

I'll be there.
It should be a great event and bring the Community together.
They really should provide information at the middle and high schools about police intervention and what is, and isn't appropriate interactions with officers.
Teens ignore officers directions, swear at officers, resist, swing and hit them and kick. Officers in the schools show amazing restraint, but that won't be the case as they move to adulthood and the community.
