Our beautiful warm days are going to give way to hot, muggy ones towards the end of the week. Oh dear.

Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo (SER, get the mayonnaise out of your sink already!). Anyway, I think I will make enchiladas, black beans and yellow rice. I may go out and buy enough fresh tomatoes to make my own pico de gallo as well. I love Mexican food.

Blogger is being a zitch. It wants to convert my email to gmail. I almost couldn't login to post today. I need another email like I need another hole in the head.

Someone needs to get to the store. I've been too tired. I'm down to the emergency jar of peanut butter.

And in the weird news department. A woman in Tulsa has been arrested for vandalizing a corpse. She cut the hair of the deceased, smudged her makeup and then cut her face. Apparently the dead woman was the former girlfriend of the sicko's new boyfriend.
Honey, if you feel threatened by a dead person, you really need to get some serious help. Good grief.

I have some friends that are visiting NYC for a few days. She texted me this morning that they had tickets to the David Letterman Show today.

They didn't know who was on until I looked it up. President Barack Obama. She texted me a few minutes ago and said it was pretty exciting. Said it was the first time she had seen a President close up.
