if it's going to rain all day, I can be a couch potato, no problem. However, that will not help cross anything off the to-do list. I actually really need to do some serious scrubbing or something, big family stuff went down yesterday with my sister :(

We just got back from the Hibiscus Festival. Flowers, music, food, art! Such a beautiful setting on Charlotte Harbor!

The grandkids wanted to fish today so that's what we did. The 9 year old loved it, the 6 year old loved steering the boat. He also learned a lesson. When someone (me) tells you "don't even think about it", they mean it. He decided to jump in the boat while it was tied to the dock. He missed. He ended up in the water. Hubby and his brother were right there so no worries. Did inhale a little water,but was fine. It was a fun day.
Now we are watching storms out west. A bumpy evening ahead.

Why would you want to relax on the weekend when you can do that at work for 5 days.....

Ya got to party you socks off on the weekend; enjoy loved ones and friends and it will get better when football starts...yaaaahooooo

SER, the funniest part was after I told him not to think about it, he wanted to know how I knew. Without missing a beat, his brother said "cause she's psychic." When I looked back at the little one, he was wide eyed. It was great. Kids.
