out of the box thinking makes for some really creative solutions, maybe it's my crazy way of thinking that brings on some 'out there' fixes, but they usually work :)
What got into the sheriff? After the morning I've had, it is a little too "can do" for me. All is well, now. By the way, it is humid as hell outside, a real steam bath.
I'm at that stage in life that once I go outside of the box, I get uneasy. I know my strengths... and would prefer to rely on them. If I'm going rogue, I've already put a lot of thought into it before jumping in.
It seems we are having the same weather. Cloudy and very humid. Heard something on the tv I had not heard in a long time - Canadian Air Mass. This one isn't so bad as it will take us down into the 80's. I like it.
OKIE, I've got this! They laugh at me at work, for a few reasons. 1. I have nearly the whole world in my phone. If ever I've had to call somebody, they're in there. Grocery store, in there. I'm the go-to gal for numbers. 2. I have lots of helpful tools on my work key ring, a knife, a dual screwdriver, nail clipper and safety pins, I can fix just about anything. If it's not on my key ring, it's probably in my work bag. One day a couple years ago, one of my early morning guys, just after we opened, had his side seam give out, almost 2 feet, from hip to knee... stashed him away in the mens room, a wonderful regular brought his pants out to me and I sewed him up, good as new in 5 minutes or less. I can definitely do McGyver! Friday, got a call from one of my guys, that his girlfriend forgot to put his work shirt in the dryer, so it was all wet and still in the wash. He brought it, sent him in the mens room and after some time with the hand dryer, good as new :) I don't have time for limits, I will find a way around :)
Just a quick up date on my surgery. I went for my first physical therapy yesterday and it was just to talk with my therapist and I go again today and Thursday. Then next week will only be twice a week. I am holding on and I am in pain but it is tolerable. The only problem is getting the leg comfortable to lay in bed to sleep. I am getting up and down the stairs with no problem I have to use a crutch and then I have the walker. I do have Drew and my daughter here to help me. I hope everyone is enjoying the day.
