Time spent with children Is wonderful. THIS ( My Opinion ) DUMB. Something happens to him while they are way out trying to catch a wave, and the CHILD, Is left floating somewhere. WHERE Is HIS life jacket? I have to slap the shit out of any of my BIL that did such a dumb thing.

I don't think that most adult surfers wear life jackets. Wet suits, maybe. I'm not saying it's right, it's just the way it is.

I just love the little one's smile. The waves sound calming, and they look to be rather close to the shore. My father was a horrible person, so to see who I guess to be the dad, trying to give the little one a great experience, it's pretty awesome. If I were the mom, however, I may lean towards Toad's thoughts.

I would add, I'm an OVER protective Parent, Grandparent, and alway's have been. I have been the victim of so many odd happenings, I can't help It. I actually have lived In fear, for the last 40+ years. Should something happen to one of my daughters, or grandkids, I don't know that I could go on?
