"We
were asked to post a special thank you to Jayden from everyone at the
bus company. 'Today a 4th grade student helped a school bus driver. The
bus driver had pulled over due to an asthma attack. She were unable to
speak or drive. This great young person got on the radio with the bus
company and talked to dispatch who then was in contact with 911. They
were able to send rescue along with another driver for the students.
There are some really good kids still out there and if not for the
student, god only knows what might have happened. Durham Bus Services
would like to thank Jayden and all the students that helped today!'"
There are many, many, very responsible and appropriate kids out there. The trouble is, many young people are left to their own accord. Some become angry and are in desperate need of proper adult leadership, or they follow the wrong crowd. Kids should not have to fend for themselves, and/or younger siblings, worry over their next meal, or question their own worth. Unfortunately, we only hear about the bad deeds done by the few. It is rare to hear of this wonderful type of behavior.

what an awesome kid! Sometimes an attack hits you out of nowhere. It's rare, but can happen.
Bravo to Jayden the 4th grader for keeping her cool and saving the situation.
Kudos to Jayden. Her parents are bringing up a caring, responsible child!
