I'm very good at putting things off. There's still a lot of boxes I haven't opened since the move 2 years ago. Guess I'm a man of simple needs: Charlie, the Internet, and Coca-Cola.

Howdy folks. Surprisingly we are in for a few nice warm days. I'll take it. I can come home today and take the dog for a walk and then dust and vacuum.

Elmo the cat has a new scratching post. He likes it. I like it too as he was going after the leather furniture. He is also getting quite brave and coming into the bedroom at night to sleep. He sneaks in so the dog doesn't see him. I've awakened with fur in my face and a purring cat.

Good thing you got Elmo the scratching post, OKIE. They'll shred the shit out of anything. You can clip their claws (I do Charlie's front nails - he hates it), but they grow back. Charlie's demolished the scratching post a friend gave us a couple of years ago. What I really want is a cat tree to replace the one we lost to bed bugs at the old place. He tore that up to hell, too.
