Hmmmm.. Happy Tuesday? Guess that means Monday is over. One less day here for me Oh I guess I should update. Put the house up for sale, had showings a couple weekends ago. Had a couple offers. One really serious one. So we accepted. After all back and forth and other bs that goes along with selling, we have a closing date of 12-29. We had a truck last week to bring most things to WI (Suzie does NOT like riding in the truck) So have it again for guess when?? Santa is bringing me a moving truck on Xmas eve. Yup. Packing up and moving out Xmas eve. How sweet is that? Dave will take us and then come back to do the closing on the 29th. So happy whatever holiday you are celebrating.
I hated packing and have no plans on ever moving again til they carry me out. Good luck with the move and impending chaos. I hope you get settled in soon :)
My primary care doctor is a stroke. He just prescribed some medicine for me that shouldn't be taken by people with kidney disease. I put a call in to my kidney doctor. I'm not taking this shit unless he OK's it. I'm so fucking tired of these medical "mistakes," and nobody will own up to them.
When expressing my doubts about the new medicine to my primary care doctor, I get that same, old, tired routine. Essentially, he treats his patients like guinea pigs, trying out shit on them, but he's never around when the consequences hit the fan. He shrugged his shoulders. He says, "If this doesn't work, we'll try something else." Who is this "we?" I asked him if I take this med tonight and there's a bad reaction with no one else around, what do I do? Again, the shrug of the shoulders. Fuck him.
I believe we should all be forced to move every so often to keep the shit down to a minimum. I've moved every 20 years.... boy, can you fill up a joint in 20 years. I have so much crap, I don't think I have the strength to make the next move.
Now, I'll get philosophical. I really believe we are often forced into new situations sometimes because it is where we are intended to be. MiniChick, I hope this move puts you in a happier spot. I hope you accomplish, learn or gain whatever you were meant to do.
Orbs, my experiences with doctors is the same. They "practice" medicine, after all. I always read everything about whatever symptoms I have, what the treatments are, what the drugs are meant to do, what harm they can do, and then decide whether I follow the prescribed process. My mom was continuously prescribed medications to fix one thing that was contraindicated by other meds or other problems she had. Not everyone has the negative side effects, so they "try" it out on you. Good luck, make good choices. I've come to the realization that no one cares as much as me, and I'm the only one driving the boat.

Oh, MinnesotaChick, I hate the chaos you are going through. Peace.
I hate moving. What to keep what to get rid of. Yuk.
Another lovely day here. Too bad I have to spend half of it at work. Oh well.
Have a good one Irregulars.
I hope the chaos dies down, MC. I hate moving.
And I hate getting up "early" for doctor appointments.
