coffee always smells great,but even on Friday's I can't stand the taste. bundle up, folks, it's another cold one today!

I can't drink coffee because it puts me to sleep. I do like the smell of it.

Well, I can't say we have the weather you are having as we are in the 60's which is lovely. Believe it or not, there is an "80" on the weather screen for this week. Sweet.

Like the other day, I starting hearing "bump, bump," earlier. It would appear the cat has discovered the vanity in the bathroom and now he likes to hide in it. Okay.

It's FRIDAY!!!

Being a Non-Waster, I have been using flavored Keurig pods my wife ordered, because I'm not going to throw them away, and she hates coffee, but when you add a ton of the flavored creamer to It, she likes It, for about a day. At that point It becomes a pain In the neck for her, and she doesn't use It, so I have to drink It. It's just that I really only like BLACK good coffee.

Coffee is most needed on Monday. To me, it tastes best on Saturday, in my sweat pants, while lounging on the sofa. Ahhhh. Weekend. Unflavored coffee with cream for me. And a cookie or small sliver of pie or something sweet. Now THAT is living!

OAKIE, Charlie learned about the kitchen cabinets here fast and is always in and out of them. I "surrendered" one cabinet to him, but that's not enough. When he's bored or wants attention, he'll slam the door of the cabinet, over and over.

I've been drinking coffee again lately after a few month lay-off. It always smells better than it tastes. I prefer the addition of some half-and-half.

This cold snap is a short, but brutal, one. "Warm" by Monday.
